PvP bosses

Hi, this is kind of a noob question, but what are PvP bosses? Are they like the Elf Queen? Someone told me PvP bosses give you XP and drop really rare items. Any ideas? Thanks

Tha Ref is rumored to drop a very rare level 50 sword that has a 1 in a million drop rate, but it could very easily be a rumor. The elf queen is said to give Exp until level 45, not sure about that either, none drop really rare stuff firm my experience, but they might.

i have killed so many pvp bosses, probably over 50 times and none have dropped anything; not even a white.

lvl 50??? im pretty sure that is either a rumor or will come out when ao3 comes out
