I just call out fake people for one reason and one reason only: a majority of them seek online relationships & since they're lying about their identity, who knows what they can be capable of?

I know one person who thought this girlfriend was 16 but what happened was that the girlfriend's mom was acting like her daughter and sending her pictures of her daughter. (They both look very similar).

Infact, that mom was engaging in illegal affairs with several different minors. Thus, I'd rather take a stand against every person who lies about his/her identity so I can prevent something like what happened to my friend from happening again.

I agree with you 100% there is no point pretending to be something u aren't. All you do is make yourself look bad and hurt other ppl. You will ALWAYS get caught in the end.

Man the stories I could tell.....the things that happen on video games .... I think I'll write a book ;p

Easy to do on a PC, open two windows the pic you want to search and Google, literally drag the pic into Google search bar and voila. Only works if it's a well know picture etc.

There's many other ways, but I'd say this is the most basic.

It's like if you know what you are doing and where to check, you can also see what programs were used/opened to create the photo if photoshoped etc.

This thread was awesome and hilarious to read through for several reasons:

1) I can't believe how many duck faces I see. And phone-pics-taken-in-bathroom-mirror-shots. Ahhhhhhhhh I'm being crushed by stereotypical internet behavior!

2) It's hilarious how many people have lied about who they are. Seriously? Just don't post if you don't want to share what you look like! No need to lie.

3) People seriously need to learn how to operate Google Image Search. Apollo seems to be the only one who knows whats up and every seems sooo mystified by how he is doing it. Simple concept, good to learn for various reasons (on a side note - Go Apollo! I gave a little cheer every post I read from you calling someone out for fake pics)

4) Signs saying hello to AL/PL etc = awesome idea
