How Do YOU Run Elite Maps?

I wanted to ask the pro's and forumers what their methods for running elite maps were.

Currently I use a lv.16 Warrior with Hammer, Whirlwind, Horn of Renew and Vengeance.

1.) I spam hammer and whirlwind and get aggro.

2.) Then I use Vengeance when I need quick health and mana and it also lets you do mad damage with Hammer and Whirlwind because of the crazy buffs.

3.) Finally Horn of Renew as needed but key to this is the 2 sec of invulnerability. Those 2 seconds are key to surviving, it allows you to buff and heal and cast Vengeance if needed or in a tight spot.

With my lv. 15 rogue I kind of sit there and help where I can, usually getting one shotted at bosses with no warrior present (I use 33 STR 36 DEX and 6 INT or something close)

I hear talk of people people soloing Elite Maps with rogues and warriors and people flying through them.

What do you do when running Elites?

Fly through them.

As long as you have a War (that knows how to play a Tank role), the rest is as easy as 1, 2, 3.

Had 1 Tank with aggro skills, 3 other Rogues, worked a charm.

Mainly just need to be well geared, and dodge the flashing red's coming at you. (Or knowing what skills to use to counter them if a Tank)

dude use venge first then hammer nd whirwind. it will giv u insane dmg if u gav points in venge of str,dmg nd crit buff. then use horn of renew. u can do solo also if u good gears. use vorpal sword to do max dmg .

Tbf, I find Chest Splitter the superior Aggro holding skill.

Works a charm to take back agg, when a Sorc/Rogue is being chased around. (If unable to Tank on them classes)

Here's my Sorcerer's first moves when in elite:

1) Let Warrior make the first attack *to not die on contact*
-
2) Use a charged Fireball *to damage mobs*
-
3) Use my Heal skill *for safety*
-
4) Begin spamming potions *to not die*

As a sorc i hide behind a tank or two. Stay far enoughh away that i cant get hit or can actually see the mob coming for me. First attack with a charged fireball, then chaged curse, then charged lightning bolt. Then i alternate between primary attack and lightning bolt and use the heal skill to keep tanks hp up and give a mana regen buff. And then run like a chicken with my head cutoff back to group after im dead.

Attacking one mob at a time seemed to work well but time consuming.

Get good gear and tbh whirl wind, i dont like it. My skill set up and I'm a tank is horn of renew, vengeful blood, axe throw and skyward smash. Axe throw let's u actually pull mobs to you, which makes a big difference with controlling ur enemy. I really dont understand all the warriors with whirlwind since ur not there to do dmg but to keep agro.

As a level 15 sorcerer, I use my spam heal as much as possible until the warrior dies. Then I get one shotted and die myself and start from the beginning.

I have not found a good group to beat a single elite boss. I am still trying to kill Stabb on the first map.

For a rogue is impossible to do solo elite maps...
Anyway my char is so weak that I die with just one hit in elite mode....
Can't even pass through the first row of mobs in the first map...
Any rogue pro that can enlighten me?

Respec over 1k HP. Dmg above 70. (Use armour pets if you have them)

Start off with a charged Aimed shot, then Razor (or other way depending on situation, which helps dge) Spam pots (stock up, especially on Mana pots) while running rings around mob, making sure you concentrate on the red flashes coming at you. (One hit kill)

If you are Warrior and have aggro, when they boss is charging up its attack, just side step it. Especially Jarl. As a Warrior i have all my points slotted in my heal about 1700 HP. His charged attack takes bout 30-45% of my health if it hits. This can easily be avoided. Just make sure not to move so much that it hurts your less armored teammates.
