    Default Armor

How does armor work in AL? How is the damage reduction calculated, and is a high amount of armor even worth it?

I assume it works just like PL where the armor is the amount of the enemy attack that is absorbed. So if you got 400 armor and the enemy hits for 600, you loose 200 health points.

That would mean normal monsters, even in the first maps, hit quite hard and elite monsters are ridiculously strong. I dunno, it's probably right. I just noticed I still take a little damage from early monsters(400 armor) and sometimes even go low on hp vs bosses. Just curious if my armor is even helping me at all

I don't think it's like PL. It seems to be a %. The harder the attack the more is absorbed. If you get hit for 200 armor will reduce attack more than if it is only 10. But I believe their may also believe a base attack you need when someone has so much armor to not hit 0.
