I'll say it again, for the record.

If you do tomes quest in level 5 repeatedly, you will get pink level 19 items.
Go to Trader's Forum and see what they are worth.

50 runs through level 5 = 100 chances for Brom Dandy to drop a pink. I got four.

The rewards are fine!!! If you don't WANT your pinks you got while seeking tomes, give them to me.

edit, afterthought: OK, JustG, if you want to change the reward, give one pink, a choice of an Int, Dex, or Str weapon level 19. Because, you know, if they didn't even get one pink, due to randomness, this would clinch it.

Let us discuss the 1000 snowballs and 1000 yeti pelts that are only available in the Elite dungeon and are not obtained from every big or wee yeti if you want to discuss "long". At least with the books it was 1 chest = 1 tome obtained.

Don't even get me started on that quest!!!!! U do all that work for an item worse or even stats.... It's just black... Woh!.... Honistly u deserve a black ice armour set!! Or shorten the quest to 500 and make it they drop everytime

Yeah, I'll be doing the same now that mine's a 50. When last I looked, I had like 7 pelts and 3 snowballs. It's gonna be a looooooong schlep.
