I noticed in the elite red dragon battle that targeting is doing some strange things. Often when the red dragon jumps away and I lose target on it, I'll find my target mysteriously locked onto a mob on the other side of the area (40m+ away). This happens even though I don't use any skills, press attack, or do anything to stimulate a target attempt. I suspect it's some kind of a bug with melee weapons, which are willing to lock onto a target from very far away. However, there's nothing I'm doing that should make it try to do so; it just does it on its own. This is a problem because it makes my character start running off to attack the distant mob rather than staying where I want to be.
To reproduce:
- Use a melee weapon (I was using dragon master scythe)
- Fight red dragon down to first leap away
- Notice target jumps to very far away mob without touching any controls
Although this doesn't happen every single time, it happens often enough to expect to see the problem in a few tries.
