I would like to know where some of the new items are and what stages and places I could retrieve them at.

Which ones? All the elite stuff like the Iceberg hammer, and brain freeze and shivering stuff drops in the Frozen Nightmare campaign. Only other newish item I can think of is the Apep staff which drops on AO2, map 5, same boss that drops dark matter, etc.
