Is there any way to do a solo run?

I've come to the conclusion that I'd be better off running Elite Jarl by myself than with others. I think I could do it quicker and not die. With others I die constantly and only manage to kill jarl about once every 4 or 5 runs. Every single time I die, the others all die following me and then everyone leaves. So it's not me who is weak, it's the others. If they are not going to contribute at all, I'd rather just do the runs alone.

Join a party, but don't let your party members join the instance you are in. In this way, random players would not be be able to access the location you are currently situated in. Works great if you have party members who spend most of the time merching and who want to solo as well.

I never found a PUG where the group was not able to defeat Jarl. Must suck. Maybe that's cause I'm a great Tank.

There's supposedly a way to invite yourself to a party and then be able to do solo runs. Essentially making a party of one (kinda like the army ). You might need an alt in order to do it. I don't know, never tried it but heard it talked about in-game.

Yeah, I need a good tank. I just tend to join random groups, and they all are terrible. I can actually handle doing Jarl without a good tank, but it's worse than that. The other players will be careless and cause the mobs behind jarl to join the fight, or sometimes the tank will try to tank and die, and then when he rejoins the group he drags the entire mobs from the bridge into the fight. Either way we end up with tons of mobs standing around Jarl, so Jarl ends up the least of my concerns. What I been doing lately is as soon as anyone dies, or as soon as any mobs enter the fight I leave immediately. But it just wastes time having to leave a few times in a row, and then maybe one out of every 3 or 4 runs we actually finish and defeat Jarl. So while playing for 3 hours today, I got a grand total of 4 elite chests, one of them gold, but did not get any pinks. Kind of a big waste of time.

With this new update it's hard to find any tank that can hold aggro. Find a good rouge and run jarl we have found it the fastest way, always under 1 min and very little pots used. Tanks seem to slow the process down, they don't deal much dmg and they can't hold aggro without taunt skills which makes them deal less dmg now that they don't have any power skills.

What?? Tanks arent thaat Depressing. Me and my irl friends who play as tanks always beat Jarl/Tower super quick. ( all lv21; all have dps and damage 110+
