    It's one-sixtieth (1/60) of a minute.

    Sorry, I couldn't resist!

    Oh, and as far as your question, I'm not really sure. I figured if you get more, it just extends the time.

    You are wrong. 100% xp gain means that you earn your xp plus your xp times the multiplier.
    For example:
    G = E + (E * M)
    G = xp gained
    E = xp earned
    M = xp multiplier
    Ex:
    Say you bought the 7-day xp elixir plus the other xp elixir, making your xp multiplier to be 100%. Since 100% = 1.00, the value of the variable M is 1.
    Say you killed a mob that awards 3 xp upon death, making the value of E equal to 3.
    Now we solve for the variable G.

    G = 3 + (3 * 1)
    G = 3 + 3
    G = 6

    You would gain 6 xp for killing that mob.

    EDIT: Simply put, it doubles your xp. Lol.

    Mind....Exploded....

    Just kidding. But yeah, it's basic maths. The name says it. You get 50 per 100. Wich means if you were receiving 100 xp from killing monsters, you would now have an extra 50 using the elixir.
