Edition Number for Limited Edition items.

Hey forums,

I was thinking today, while trying to find an outfit for the Rockin' Retro Contest, and then it hit me: why doesn't STS have Edition numbers (ya know, like trading cards do) on in-game items. For instance, Halloween 2010 items and Halloween 2011 items are the same. Why aren't the items from the original release marked as "First Edition"? Another instance, say the Avengers II movie comes out and STS releases the same items (but for some reason, in fantasyland, the items are tradable and only slightly different) and the both sell for the same price. If the First Edition items were marked "First Edition", it might help price differentiation and restore peace to those people who think re-releasing items is bad (probably not).

I dunno, just an idea.
