NPC Compendium


What are NPC's?

"NPC" Stands for "Non-Playable Character". You can talk to the NPC's in either a "Towne" or "Dungeons" that you are in, and you can either accept quests, Access your stash, Access shops and some of them even tell you stories. NPC's will always be the color "WHITE", and also if you have a 'Quest' and you open your "MINI MAP" the "NPC's" will show as a "GOLD" Triangle.

Nah, they attack you with their words! Like that one npc who hopelessly confuses you when you first start and makes you think that you should mix str, dex, and int.

Lol yes i have see MANY of ppl doing that. ANd by many i mean MILLIONS. Although i when i was a nebie myself i understood those werent enemies cuz of the names on top. And the fact they talk and you can see their writing.

i havent looked at the other threads that have npc names/locals ect, but if this one is to help people, it needs to have the npcs that are hard to find.
people only ask where the npcs are who are hard to find, because theyre INSIDE maps, not easily found in town.
some examples, in AO "Sizoo", or all three shadows in AO.
there are several npc inside the balefort maps that you need to find for quests, or that one warden inside of lost valey. i dont see any of those npcs on your list.
i think those would be more helpfull than more pictures.

Acually quite a few are wrong, and I'm fairly certain there is already a very good guide on this topic.
You left out ozz the merchant entirely from forest haven
Marlon and Jackson in DF sell gear rather than give quests as does slim in glumdoll cemetary and sindbad in fort blackstone.
Idk if any others are wrong but theres a gear seller in lost expedition towne and swamp towne as well i know
