On the Arcane legends logo when you see the three toons they are wearing basic armor, they look the same as when you are creating a new character.

Those guys in loading screens are icons. I dont see any significance changing their outfits every updates, besides Dev have lots of important things to do to make the gaming experience more engaging.
Those are my opinions though.

Maybe it's super endgame gear and we just don't know it yet.
On a side note, it would be nice if they really had some cool armour on. A new player might be attracted by the armour the character wore on the loading page. When asked how to get them, the answer is "they can be bought only with plat" . Ka-ching! *Cash register opening*.. More sales for STS. :P

When I signed up in game, I was happy that my noob character is same with that on loading screen and said to myself "I wanna beat that guy soon.." then started playing until now.

The thread was a joke, but yeah it would attract people if they had nice looking armor on. The warrior is all nude and horrible looking lol.

Did it make you smile? At all? It's a joke... funny like ha ha? Anyway It's a valid statement. Most mmorpgs have characters in end game gear on loading screens etc. I don't see any reason why they are not in say the founders armor.

I'm pickin up what you're puttin down but...come on..really? Why on earth would they modify the loading page image everytime there's upgraded gear? Seems silly. I have a sneaking suspicion you're just looking for a reason to complain out of bordom :P
