Yes they stated in another thread that the xp applies to pets as well.

Well, i plan to level alt in x2 weekend so... What do u guys do whilst lvling/ farm kills. Or do u hardcore just fight

I sometimes workout while leveling. I pick the machine where no one can see what I'm doing lol.
