Updates?

Hey people, I have a quick question: on the updates screen : how come the number at the end is different, random example: 5-18-10 content update(55555) and then the next one will be: 5-20-10 content update(55570). Why is there always a skip in the numbers?

I'm not sure, but I'm guessing those numbers represent builds. So you have 55555, and while you're playing with it, they make 55556, 55557, etc. making changes and fixing bugs along the way, then they hit 55570, it seems ready to go, so they release it to the players.
