Don't have access to my account

Well I didn't know where to post this so I'll post it here.
My friend wanted to login on my account, but he didn't know the password, so he clicked on forgot password.
It said they sent a e-mail with a new password to my e-mail but I don't know the password to my e-mail.
Can STS do something or is my account doomed?
