level 30 pink from dark forest?

ok, i just got a level 30 jewel thief's heavy crossbow from dark forest.

Was it in the Kings' Forest? If so that's normal. The level 29 bone loot pinks, as well as some random level 30 stuff (your xbow, pick axe and spike axe of legend, some mastery stuff, etc.) drop in the last minidungeon of all the campaigns through Fathom.

Not generally speaking. The bone loot minidungeons (2nd minidungeon of each campaign through Fathom) were not originally part of those campaigns. They were added around the time Lost Expedition came out or was about to come out. So the new minidungeons had gear drops corresponding to the new level cap at the time of 30.

Eh, it seems to be about as rare as the Sniper's Battle Crossbow. It was one of the best level 30 xbows, but with the new FN gear, it has less value I suppose. I wouldn't liquidate it. At least sell it to a level 30 for a couple thousand...

The snipers has 1 less dps than the jewel thiefs, but the snipers has 3 more crit. So I would say the snipers.
