Have You Had The Same Experience When Claiming Free Gifts?

It happened to me three days in a row when I tried to claim free gifts from both NPC, the window just flashed a bit then nothing happened, no elix/pot/token/egg whatsoever. Is this a new kind of glitch?

Same I think there timed now. If you dont collect them within a few hours you get nothing.

This happened to me, numerous times. However, I still get a reward. I check my elixirs if i got a lix or maybe its pots. I get a reward though. Make sure you check if something changed

This is contrary to what one of the devs said. I can't remember the exact same words, but they implied that the meaning of free gifts is to let people claim them when they are ready to play, not to be reserved for later. This is why they changed the countdown with update on Valentine's. Or maybe we simply got screwed lol...
