Which offers more hp and more damage?

Just off the top of my head, i know that malison offers more hp with its 20 str. Not sure about damage. Malison gives you 5 crit but I don't know how much that will affect damage and how much base damage int provides, presuming that you're asking this question as a sorcerer.
