Strength (22): You need to have 22 points in str in order to be able to equip lvl 5 armsman. Increases dodge, health, h/s and armor by highest rate. Also increases crit and dmg.
Intelligence (20): You need to have 20 points in int in order to be able to equip lvl 20 shrunken head bracer and lvl 20 toyman wand/monkey paw. Increases m/s by highest rate. Also increases hit, crit, dodge, h/s and dmg. Increases skill damage of all skills, highest increasing rate is in poison darts and needles.
Dexterity (73): You need to have 68 points in dex in order to be able to equip lvl 22 forgotten bow. Increases damage, hit and crit by highest rate. Also increases dodge, h/s and armor. Increases skill damage of all skills, highest increasing rate is in rabid bite, vixen kick, combo, armor shredder, fox howl and hypnotize. Put rest of your points here.

(all skill damages below are calculated without any gear equipped)

Rabid bite (1): 12 mana, 4 sec cooldown, 8m range, leap in to cause 43-62 damage
Starts ”slam” combo that does some nice damage. Also handy mobility boost, which can be used either to get closer to your opponent or to get away from your opponent.

    Evasion (6): 10 mana, 5s. cooldown, self-target +3s. buff brakes root effects, +30% dodge, +16 armor
Short buff that lasts only for 3 seconds. Very important for fox's survivability.

    Fury (1): 15 mana, 30.5s. cooldown, self-target 10s. buff , +10 hit chance %
Boosts your hit% over 100. This is essential, because forgotten bows have very nasty -15 hit debuff proc. Very high cooldown time when compared to duration.

    Hamstring (5): 15 mana, 5sec. cooldown, 3m +3s. debuff reduces -50% dodge, -18 h/p pers., +40% stun chance
When combined with rabid bite unleashes ”slam” combo that does lots of damage. Fox's main source of damage. Debuffs both dodge and H/s and has chance for stun.

    Fox howl (1): 20 mana, 5.5s. cooldown, 8m area, 48-53 damage, +5s. target debuff reduces -6 damage
Does extra (aoe) damage and debuffs opponent's damage by -6. It may sound little, but it adds up fast.

    Hypnotize (1): 10 mana, 7.5s. cooldown, 12m range, 31-39 damage, +pull, +3s. stun
This one is pretty amazing skill. It has highest range of all fox's skills, stuns opponent for 3 seconds, and also pulls him/her towards you. Necessary against kiters.

    Rage tonic (6): 30 mana, 28s. cooldown, self-target 20s. buff +30% crit chance, +35 damage
Very important buff, increases damage output significantly.

    III. Gear

In gear you want to focus on two stats: dodge and hit. Dodge is your best friend, as it's your primary source of defense. And your hit is low (only 63% of attribute points are in dex), so getting it higher is important.

Helmet: Bandit's cap (lvl 20 fox plat pack). 2 dex, 5 int, 2% dodge, 3% hit, 1% crit, 2 H/s, 2 M/s, 5 armor. Best helm for you, because this adds both hit and dodge.

Weapon: I personally prefer using lvl 20 winter fest toyman. 49-75 damage, 1.2 speed, 4 int, 2% hit, 2 M/s + stun proc. Purple one is a lot cheaper, but it doesn't boost your hit% and does only 47-73 damage, so I suggest you to buy pink one if you can afford it. If your opponent uses op halloween gear, you should move to op halloween gear too. In this case, use lvl 20 fiendish monkey's paw. 67-89 damage, 1.2 speed, 9 int, 3% dodge, 3% hit, 1% crit, 2 armor. And if your opponent uses forgotten bow, you can either use forgotten bow or halloween gear. Lvl 22 essentially forgotten bow 82-127 damage, 0.9 speed, 8 dex, 1% dodge, 3% hit, 3% crit, 2 armor + -15% hit proc. You can use lvl 20 snowball launcher in fox vs. fox fights if your opponent is using winter fest gear too. 34-44 damage, 0.7 speed, 4 dex, 2% crit + freeze proc. (sorry, I don't know the stats of the pink version -it's probably something like +2 damage, +2% hit)

Armor: Lvl 5 crafted/forged armsman armor. Personally I prefer crafted over forged. 7 str, 6% dodge, 3 H/s, 6 damage, 4 armor (forged has 5 damage, 5 armor). Lvl 15 artisan leather is good choice too. 7 dex, 8% hit, 3 H/s, 13 armor.

Shield: With toyman use lvl21 jewel thief's earthquake wing. 7 dex, 4% hit, 2 crit%, 1 H/s, 1 M/s, 11 armor. With paw use lvl 20 fiendish shrunken head bracer (I prefer this over bone cage and evidence bracer because this one has more dodge than those. Those two are okay too though). 9 int, 3% hit, 3% dodge, 1% crit, 4 damage, 9 armor.

Ring: Acrobat's fine platinum band (lvl 20, costs 10 plat). 2% dodge, 10 damage. Some foxes use acrobat's fine golden band too (lvl 20, costs 10 plat). 2% dodge, 8 armor. Platinum is IMO a lot better, since the 10 damage is actually 10 x 1.38 (crit) =13.8 damage. Higher armor makes fights last longer, but longer fight isn't advantage for you because your defensive buff lasts only 3 seconds.

Trolling gear set: lvl 20 bandit (fox plat pack) helm, dual daggers, armor, and no vanities. With this gear set I look like a total noob, but I can beat almost all lvl 20 or under forgotten bow noobs. Lots of fun is guaranteed.

This is how your loadout shortcut should aproximately look like:

    IV. Face

Choose the one that looks best. These two faces with best stats are also the best-looking ones IMO.

White fox: +3 hit. You can choose this when you create your chacacter, otherwise it costs 5 plat. I personally use this face.

Green fox: +1 dodge. Costs 10 plat.

    V. Combos/tactics:

Against other foxes: rage tonic > fury > evasion at 8m > rabid bite > hamstring > hypnotize > fox howl, move out of 3m range > repeat.

OR you could use snowball launcher (in case your opponent is using some winter fest gear too) and kite. Try to kite his/her combo off with freeze debuff. When you see your opponent has casted bite without hitting it, buff up and nuke. *requires lots of practice and it's not recommended*

Against rhinos: Rhinos use almost always reaper's blade, so staying out of their auto-range is the key to success. Rage tonic > fury > evasion when you're in about 8m range of your opponent > rabid bite > hamstring (if it hits inexperienced rhino will waste his/her heal at this point) > hypnotize > fox howl, step out of 4m range > repeat.

Against mages: This is your toughest match up. If drain hits or if you're opponent likes to be noob and shield early, you're pretty much screwed. Rage tonic > fury > evasion at 12m range of your opponent > rabid bite > hamstring > fox howl > hypnotize > repeat. Pray for dodges.

Against bears: Rage tonic > fury > evasion at 12m range of your opponent > rabid bite > hamstring > hypnotize > fox howl, move out of 4m range > repeat.

Against birds: Rage tonic > fury > evasion at 12m range of your opponent > rabid bite > hamstring > hypnotize > fox howl, stay as close to your opponent as possible > repeat.

If you see your hamstring stunning, don't waste hypnotize before hamstring's stun has ended.
If you need to run away from your opponent, quickly switch target to something that is far away so you can use rabid bite for extra speed.
