Arcane Shield isn't working properly

500/0.3=1667 without any upgrade

means I can take 1667 "original" total damage before the shield breaks

Edit: I should take 1667*0.7=1167dmg while the shield absorbs 500dmg



but it break right after I took 2 hits from an elite goblin

each hit causes around 260dmg (260*2=520, much lesser than 1667)

520*(0.3/0.7)=223

means the shield without any upgrade only absorbs 223dmg before it breaks

it should be 500 but not 223

The hit damage is already reduced by 0.3 making it 260 damage, not 260*1.3=338

1. You can be wrong, and thy hit you 2x, so its around 500.
2. You can be right, and you took 500 dmg, not absorbed it, and there is missing 0.3 multiplier in their Equation.

I dont have wizzard so cant test it.
But you can check, that it work properly with all uprades. cause i see from photo u have none. Skills + only some upgrades trully got some bugs, like warriors windmill glitch.
So if fully upgraded it will work properly, not big deal :-)

shield doesn't reduce damage,but it absorbs damage

0.3 means the shield absorbs 30% of the original damage

and you receive 70% of the original damage

this makes it look like a 30%dmg reduction, But it's NOT

The hit damage is already reduced by 0.3 making it 260 damage, not 260*1.3=338

260/(1-0.3)=371 (the original damage)

371*0.3=111.3 (absorbed damage from 1 hit)

111.3*2=222.6 (absorbed damage from 2 hits, and the shield breaks)



btw, where is your "1.3" comes from?
