    Like it all, especially the brackets. 12 twinks against 14-16 pros is getting to be extremely annoying

    Squishhhh!!Thanks for the comment bro. I agree... especially 13 twinks lmao (who twinks at 13...). As far as the Arena, even if just the Arena was implemented and you could que as a group (for 2v2/3v3) we could put together tournaments on the forums and duke it out. Keep the comments coming guys!

    I could care less personally about brackets. ..I hate twinking and think refinements done for twinking to balance pvp has asks negatively effected end game pvp.. I hate feeding pets so stupid... they should level up for each kill than as well like in pve but they don't. ..ib think there should be pets room. And a no pets room....I wan't wins and losses done some way...and guild stats. .a ladder ranking system would be cool as well...I want more arenas though. ..

    Hi Popa! I am immortalite I read your post well. I can feel your deep consideration about pvp. I agree with most of ideas except pet and kill LB.
    At first When the pet system was added to pvp, I thought It is bad. but now i enjoy using pet. As people mentioned, It also gives us diversities. There are many people who have same items & skills setting. Choosing pet and using active skill timing makes different. It can decide result of fight: win orlose. BUT I read comments that new starter can be frustrated in here. I should have thought about it. It is also good opinion. One lobny with pet, one lobby without pet can not be accomplished? Though Is is complex.
    By the way, The idea of flag and arena is soooooo coooooool!! I also have questions that 'why win from capturing flags is not count' + 'I want to be evaluated by skills & understanding of game not by just time i invested'. I think your words can solve those questions.
    Ah....Please understand that my comment is weird in words or sentences. I am not good at english. because i have been learning english as a second language. So especially writting down my thoughts is veeeeery difficult for me. It makes me sad that i cant express my thought about your post popa. Anyway good idea! :blaket of lv, arena, win by flag, penalty to leave. I wish most of these ideas can be applied AL after few test. Nice again popa bro!

    I agree with either level brackets or +/- 1 level for a even level match in pvp. I do disagree about pets. Pets alllow for a whole new strategy in pvp. With the many different types it allows many uses including team strategies, but this just my opinion. I would like to see the implementation of more parties in pvp, and have the ability to start game like in sl this way the party can join on one team instead of being split up many times as is now. This would also lead to future ctf team tournaments and more. Also I too would love to see pvp expanded to arena deathmatch or king of ring. 1v1, 3v3, ctf and an 10v10 large arena fight like dl's deathmatch.

    I love the ideas and opinions as it shows people are so inerested in making al an even better game.

    Roost, Immo and Darko I appreciate the posts!

    To Darko: I personally think End Game pvp requires less skill, especially as a rogue. As a mage, they die with a quick charged AS and a tap of shadow piercer. Rogue V rogue is almost the same way.. First person to get those two off wins. Twinking on the other hand, I only stand a chance against another twink if I have shield but other than that, you never see 1 and 2 shots at lvl 12. Rogues hit way too hard when they crit and it would be great if there damage could get nerfed.

    To Immo: Not weird at all man! Im sure Id sound even worse if I tried to speak your language. Thank you for reading. I want to get rid of the LB because I think it influences kill farming. With an objective of winning a CTF game it might deter people from kill farming. And by getitng rid of the Kill LB all together completely gets rid of kill farming unless people only care about their KDs.

    To Roost: I thikn that the only true way to make pvp even is the level brackets. That way for PvPers, they have a designated level to be capped at and play others. Lets face it, the way PvP is right now with people playing at all different levels, its so unbalanced. Its a pain going at someone then getting completely merked because there one level up on you and you have no idea until someone on the other team tells you. With actual brackets players can go into PvP, see that the highest player is lvl 9 for example, level to 9 and be have an even chance.

    Thanks for bring this back again.
    We need some changes in this.

    Don't want to add too much but one thing.
    Pets should applied in pvp too.
    It sound like we should fight without gears.
    Pet is like an gear that boost your stat. All you need to buy good gear (this is a must for pvp), why not pet? Of course some pets require plats or amount of time. But you do have some pet that you can farm or drop too. (Like flap jack or ribbit)
    So I think pet should be in pvp as you use your gears.

    And let STS do their business too. They need our financial support for this great game. (As long as they are NOT looking for it!!!! Sometime I feel like it.)

    Ok u covered alot of topics here and i have alot of my own ideas for pvp but ill try to stay on topic and just comment on yours.

    Brackets: No, i dont like the idea simply cause there are not enough players in pvp and everyone will just play the highest lvl of the bracket. Who would ever want to be at the bottom?

    Rewards:Yes, but not tokens or plat. Just gold, dedicated pvp players have absolutely no way of makeing even a little gold while in pvp arena. And since pets cost gold to feed its just a constent drain on your gold fund. So to ballance this for pvp players it would be nice to get a reward of 100g-1k gold depending on the lvl of pvp u play. And to stop people from just gold farming there should be a cost of gold to enter a match and that would be given to the winning team. This would actually fix alot of the problems u discused about farming kills and so on. Also since the gold is comming from other players and not just being printed every match it would maintain the ballance of the economy. Would also keep unexperienced players "noobs" out of pvp so they dont get completely murdered by more experienced players "twinks".

    Arenas: Yes, 1v1 yes 2v2 yes 3v3 yes 5v5 timed deathmatch yes and organized tournaments yes. 1v1 seems like its way over due. Everyone does it in ctf matches unofficially so why not have an arena for it so ctf matches dont get disturbed.

    Pets: No, dont take them away. Just give an option before entering the matches to play with or without pets. Pet arenas and no pet arenas.

    As for the problems with pvp, everyone is playing a different game. Some people are actually trying to play ctf while others are playing team deathmatch and 2 people on the side trying to 1v1. Its no wonder why people r just farming flags and kills in pvp. Space time really needs to take a break from pve updates and pvp balance updates. They need to focus on more pvp content, such as new arenas and tournaments. They could do alot of cool things with tournaments. Like a weekly or monthly tournament that awards the winners with an arcane peice of gear. Pvp would become much more popular and people would actually play the game that was intended for that arena. More pvp guilds would appear and they would all practice for the tournaments working as a team. Spacetime just has to open their eyes and stop hateing on twinks. There's a huge market for mobile pvp games and not many suplliers filling the demand. They've got a pot of gold sitting right on their laps and they dont know what to do with it.

    Twink thanks for the post. I couldnt agree with you more! Like I said this game has so much potential. PvE isnt much of anything, its endless farming. PvP on the other hand is already fun and I can tell it wasnt paid much attention to in the making of this game. I realize they are juggling 3 other MMOs and I have yet to play them, but I couldnt see them being much better/different than this game. With a little more attention paid to in PvP this game could really boom. As far as level brackets, with the system now there is STILL a bottom. Even as a 12 twink, a 13 joins and you get merked faster than you can blink your eye. And if you think about it, how many games are usually running of 5v5 for all levels? There must be at least 3-5 at a time therefore I think a designated bracket with a capped level wouldnt affect the influx of games. I like your idea for the reward system, I suggested story tokens mainly because I want Colton lmao. But as I suggested with an addition of new token items, tokens could definitely be a desirable item.

    i would like to see sts try +1/-1 for a few days maybe a week to see if enough people pvp'd to keep people from standing in in a locked room. i handle +2/-2 just fine tho. challenging


    2. A New Game: I think the best idea for a new PvP scenario would be Arena. A 2v2 and 3v3 Arena would be a blast if implemented, maybe even a 1v1. With an Arena system, Arena teams should also be created. An Arena team is a team that is bought for a small cost (5 plat maybe? This is so random people don’t make teams over and over) and led by someone that has a max of 3 players for 2v2 and 4 for 3v3 (for 1 sub). Players can be removed/added as the leader wishes. These teams will have a rating based on there win/loss ratio. At the end of the season the team with the best rating in whichever level bracket gets a reward (be it a banner, title, vanities). The rated Arena will only be people of the same level I.E all 26s, all 16s, all 12s.There could also be a solo que arena for PUG teams so everyone can enjoy the Arena fun. Adding an Arena will make for a ton of NEW, EXCITING, and DIFFICULT challenges for players (I.E team composition). ***Ratings are reset and the end of a season as they should be. A simple 2v2 and 1v1 Arena would be great as well. We can put tournaments togeher on forums

    knowing sts the last three years it will go something like this

    1st, ctf 5v5 right on

    2nd, death team match 5v5

    3rd 1v1 arena

    dont get me wrong I love more but that is what i would expect 1st.



    3. CTF Refinements: CTF is a great game, but is rarely played (hypothetically speaking). People who are competitive PvPers usually farm kills rather than cap flags (bcuz ldrboardz dood). By having people farm kills, new players (and experienced) continuously quit games. At lvl 12 if I play 5 games one day, usually only 1 of those games is actually completed by 5 flag captures. Otherwise people just leave and the game is never completed. So to combat this issue, add a reward system! Perhaps the winning team could get a single story token (or more depending on devs). Other players said to me one platinum. Of course this would be less likely because it is how STS makes their money but it could also help with the forming of things like guilds and Arena teams, and help the people who do not buy plat open a crate for once in their careers! With story tokens as a reward, make more desirable token items so that people want that CTF win! Another cool thing this will do is get rid of truces. Ive been in a game where I have only attacked 2 out of 5 people because the others are guildies/friends. I love my friends! But truces kind of ruin PvP and with a reward system these truces will be demolished.

    only thing i can say on this ctf is i do like what they have. could it be better? sure, more maps, bigger teams, ffa ect...
    but i cap, i cap rogue to leaders first season of pvp. working on war now for season 3 while maintaing rogue. . but im capping and having fun doing it.



    Questions about CTF Refinements (taken from another thread):
    A. What if someone joins halfway or at the end of a the game, will they be rewarded? I think no, but it may have to be that way. Players should have to be in a % (maybe 7-10 minutes) of the game to get a reward. But that may be too difficult to implement. Therefore people may get rewarded but it would only be a single story token or single plat (plat def. has a higher value than the token).

    B. What if shortly after the game starts, everyone on one team leaves, and then the game ends 1-0. Does the winning team still get a win? Absolutely not, games have to end with 5 caps in order for a reward to be eligible

    C. What if during a game one team sees there losing and everyone leaves and the game never finishes? I believe players who leave a game should get a debuff that doesn’t allow them to re que for a certain amount of time (yes stealing idea from WoW). But this is the only viable option. For every time a person quits make it so they cant re que for 20 minutes (that’s a pain in the buns). And for every other game they quit within a 24 hour time period that debuff gains another 20 minutes on top of it

    D. What if people sit at 4 caps and are clearly the dominating team and continue to kill farm? Ah, the question Ive been waiting for. GET RID OF THE KILL LEADERBOARD, ITS WHAT IS RUINING PVP. People will get mad of course, but that’s why Arena is implemented! The REAL challenge is in Arena and there is where you get your glory with banners or whatever it may be (PvP vanity gear :O). It doesn’t really take “skill” to get on the CTF kill LB, it just takes a ton of time. And I know when I first saw people with kill banners I was like “Woah that guy must be pro” now Im just like “lol”. Keep the Flag one because that encourages people to cap flags! Yay flag banners.

    E. What if I get disconnected during a game and my team wins, will I get a token? No and you will get a deserter debuff for possibly ruining the game for your team. Some people may use the disconnect to get out of a game, therefore the debuff is given to anyone who leaves a game whether its on accident or on purpose.

    4. Issues regarding classes: Guys, classes will never be completely balanced and truthfully they never should be! In what game is a mage able to beat every other class with a skilled player behind it? None, same goes with rogue and warrior type classes. Does that mean that nerfs cant happen? Of course not, there are some nerfs that do need to happen I think. Rogue packs need to be not as OP and rogues need to not be able to crit for 1k at lvl 12. As a mage with 250% crit point in lightning Im lucky to crit 500 with the best gear. Warriors just got merked with the recent skill nerf on them but they are still incredible, I think they could see a little boost in damage. I play a mage and do pretty well for myself and I don’t know what I would nerf/improve for my class. Theres nothing really too OP about us. Every class can merk us and I have to play my butt off to beat a rogue with the right build 1v1. Ive beaten warriors 1v1 but again, the better ones always win unless Im in a hallway kiting.

    5. Get rid of pet feeding in PvP: Self explanatory. Id rather not have pets than have to feed them in PvP. If I could have it my way, pets wouldn’t even be in PvP.

    I hope this thread is paid some attention to because it could give PvP a perfect face lift and make this game really boom. So please guys don’t just look at this thread, comment on it and give it attention if you like my ideas. The Devs will look at it then and maybe we can some changes. In my eyes the ideas I proposed are good and thought through. I am more than glad to answer any questions anyone has about my ideas. Please no flaming, instead ask questions and I am sure I can come up with an intelligent answer.

    How about a guild vs guild arena? with 6-12 players, CTF or a game type like "Invasion" Where a guild has to go through it's opponent's base and destroy what's theirs, and to protect.

    Great thread. I, for one support pets in PvP because of diversity. Pop and Pebbles know how my spec for my mage is built, and it revolves around Ribbit. Brackets would be a lovely addition. As well as a new arena. Ect. Also, staked PvP? Duels? Please?

    How players are able to win CTF without a team fighting against them is agreeable. I've done it before and I only won 5-0 and you won't have achievements or skills by doing that. Unless theres a new 'Join CTF' button when someone has activated that option(settings) to enable them to be interested in playing PvP matches. Arena's are good but for the 3v3 match, it has to be either 2v2 or 1v1 and not 2v3, 1v3 so on.
