STAFF/OFFICERS

Officers are responsible for regular interaction with guild members, ensuring that support is provided as required for all other members of <Darksiders>. They facilitate guild runs and provide supportive administrative tasks to the Guild Master. Forward all concerns about behavioural issues to an Officer online. Officers reserve the right to dismiss any member or recruiter who is directly rude to them or blatantly disregards any enforcement of guild rules. We're here to help everyone.

-Roles and Responsibilities

**All Officers will be designated these general responsibilities

*Officers must conduct and organize runs for the guild on a regular basis. "A Call to Arms"
*Officers must formally introduce new Members to the guild at the soonest opportunity (Example: "Welcome to DS - Wear your title - Please don't beg - Have fun")
*Officers contribute to the guild fund for rewards and recognition programs and contests.
*Officers have the autonomy to issue the recruiters test on behalf of the Master. If the Member passes then they will be promoted the next time the Master logs on.


**Each Officer will be assessed to fit into one of these specializations in order to not only facilitate the guild but to ensure that the Officers have an opportunity to grow and use thier strengths to the fullest!

Ambassador: Officers in this capacity will focus on interaction with our Recruiting Guild FEAR and REPO in order to help along the Ascendance Process as well as develop new strategies to work with other guilds.

Herald: Officers in this capacity will focus on ensuring that all new members are educated on how and where to find our Forum thread and Facebook group. These officers will also ensure to have staggered meetings throughout the week to help make sure all members are sufficiently informed on news, updates and any contests happening.

Inquisitor: Officers in this capacity will focus on ensuring that any and all new players are immediately catered to and ensure that early elites from Brackenridge, Ydra Forest and Dead City are completed almost as soon as they join the guild.

Beastmaster: Officers in this capactity will focus on farming Pets to help members achieve their Pet AP. These officers are responsible for coordinating the "egg games" for the guild.

Myrmidon: Officers in this capacity will focus on PvP. These officers will be tasked with moderating any PvP events as well as motivating players to PvP on a regular basis.

Steward: Officers in this capacity will assist all Officer types. It is expected that Officers in this role will fufill the duties of the other Officers types in thier absence.

#1 Wear your guild title

Please wear <Darksiders> at formal Guild Events and when among your peers.

**Note: Though there is no repercussion if you do not. Guild pride is taken into account when considering promotions to becoming an officer.**





#2 Do not beg

Someone who does not feel comfortable will report you to a staff member (Officer or Master)
This includes:

(a)Asking for money or items, resulting in a complaint.
**Note: Best is to not ask at all**

(b)Asking for a promotion, resulting in a complaint.
**Note: Asking how to be promoted is different than asking to be promoted**

(c)Asking for a Group, resulting in a complaint.
**Note: People will get to you when they arent busy. Try PM'ing people instead of just depending on GC**

#3 Have fun!

"Fun" must not be at another persons expense.
(a) No Random invites to Party without notice
**Note: Please ask first**

(b) Do not be rude to fellow guildmates
**Note: take it out of GC. if you cannot handle it yourself, ask an Officer for help**

(c)Refrain from swearing or adult topics in our Guild Chat

#4 Recruiting

(a) Recruiters and Officers may recruit level 30+ players. Alts of a guilded main are permitted. All requests to add characters under 30 must first be made by the guilded main character.

(b) Recruiters and Officers may recruit level 26 TWINK players.

**Note: If an exception is to be made it must be reported to an Officer or the Master for approval**
**Note: Individual results may vary**
**Note: Failure to comply will result in an infraction**






#5 Becoming a Recruiter

(a) Members require Level 40 to get the recruiters test.
(b) Members also require Paragon title to get the recruiters test
(c) Alts. must still meet these requirements to become Recruiters
(d) TWINK alts. only require the Paragon title to get the recruiters test






#6 Becoming an Officer

(a) Officers will only be elected by vote based on the needs of the guild subject to the decision of the Master.
(b) Must be a Recruiter to be nominated for this position.
(c) Alts. of an Officer will be immediately promoted to Officer for administrative purposes.

#7 Activity

These rules will apply to members who go noticeably inactive.

#8 Privacy

Reporting is a serious issue. If a report on an individual is made public you also violate the rights of their privacy. Disputes will be dealt via Tells, or Party message where a Staff Member and both parties will come together. No private matters, reports, disputes or otherwise private discussion will be done in a public domains such as guild chat or anywhere an individuals privacy is otherwise jeopardized.

#9 Reporting

Please report infractions directly to a Staff Member and ONLY a Staff Member as soon as possible. Staff Members will decide if the situation is worthy of a warning. Warnings work as follows.

(a) 1 Warning is verbal and reported to the Master
(b) 2 Warning will result in demotion if applicable - Your name will appear on the "Thin Line" list.
(c) 3 Warning will result in removal from the guild - Your name will appear on the "Blacklist" - You may not rejoin <Darksiders> until Staff agree it is okay.

#10 Infractions

(a) Infractions last 1 month from the time of being reported
(b) You cannot be promoted if you currently have an infraction against you.
(c) Infractions disappear after 1 month of good behaviour.

In light of some news with regards to the activity levels in the guild, the officers and I have opted to make some changes to our recruiting policies.

We will be approaching all current members and recruiters of <Darksiders> to inform you that by April 1st all characters under level 35 will be moved to either <F E A R> or <R E P O> for the purposes of leveling. Once your character meets <Darksiders> level requirements, your character can be invited back into <Darksiders>.

If you have not been moved to one of these guilds by April 1st you will be subject to removal

- Ascendance is the Final Trial of a <F E A R> or <R E P O> member before moving to <Darksiders>. This will be the Anger Management Achievement in most cases.

**Each Officer will be assessed to fit into one of these specializations in order to not only facilitate the guild but to ensure that the Officers have an opportunity to grow and use thier strengths to the fullest!

Ambassador: Officers in this capacity will focus on interaction with our Recruiting Guild FEAR and REPO in order to help along the Ascendance Process as well as develop new strategies to work with other guilds.

Herald: Officers in this capacity will focus on ensuring that all new members are educated on how and where to find our Forum thread and Facebook group. These officers will also ensure to have staggered meetings throughout the week to help make sure all members are sufficiently informed on news, updates and any contests happening.

Inquisitor: Officers in this capacity will focus on ensuring that any and all new players are immediately catered to and ensure that early elites from Brackenridge, Ydra Forest and Dead City are completed almost as soon as they join the guild.

Beastmaster: Officers in this capactity will focus on farming Pets to help members achieve their Pet AP. These officers are responsible for coordinating the "egg games" for the guild.

Myrmidon: Officers in this capacity will focus on PvP. These officers will be tasked with moderating any PvP events as well as motivating players to PvP on a regular basis.

Steward: Officers in this capacity will assist all Officer types. It is expected that Officers in this role will fufill the duties of the other Officers types in thier absence.

We have been Ranked at #12 this week

As always, we have strengths and areas of improvement. This week we have improved in many statistics. With the sudden major improvement in Elitista, 3 other guilds including us were bumped down by Rank.

Great work everyone! The PvE contest helped up to gain 1 Rank in this area! Keep it up Ranked 8th

Im glad to see we're helping each other out! W have done a fabulous job of attaining more and more AP for the guild we are now Ranked 6th

Continued efforts to recruit veteran players and avoid making alts on new accounts is a must. Ranked 22nd

*AVG Account Age: Recruiters - AIM HIGH! Look for players who have played awhile. Engage potential recruits and try to find the players who have played awhile.
*TDM K/D Ratio: Join the PvP Tournament and start getting comfortable with PvP. Remember your PvP alliance with <NOOBSTERS> in twink pvp lvl 18-21. Don't kill them!
