The Potion Experiment

I will be looking at how much pots I buy and how much gold I spend on them on a day to day basis at the end of a day, leading up to a week. Each day (Starting Monday) I will record how many pots I buy and how much gold I spend. (Later look for the feeding pet experiment ^.^)

I like this experiment! Also, try it as a Mage with and without the Heal skill. Then the other classes with and without Heals and Mana skills (class skills and or pet arcanes/Happy Bonuses).

I think you also need to include whether you're doing elite or normal....

In my experience, I rarely use hp and mana pots on my 2 warriors when doing normal maps. Elites??? they get thirsty a lot.

This is a good experiment Lalarie. For me, I use roughly around 90 healing pots a day. However there are days when I use a lot more, depending on how many people I'm helping out.

Not to derail your thread, but this tabulation will only benefit you. Each player has different play style, I play a mage, sometimes I go ahead as to take aggro when not needed, thus I'm weakened early on, then spam pots.

How are you using so few mana pots with the rogue? On my rogue, only using 30-40 pots per half hour would be a huge improvement.

rogue is like playing a bird in pl. I'm just constantly spamming potions out of habit. Although mostly mana potions, whereas with the bird its health potions

I did my own little experiment on my rogue.

Three days of hardcore elite farming later...



Drops I got were worth a whopping 20k at most (2 elite silver chests)
