Terrible lagging problems!

Hello all, I've recently been unbanned, and wanted to get on AL, the thing is, whenever I push the "Play" at the start screen, it freezes when the dog is walking, and my game crashes. This makes the game unplayable, literally. Some say "Lag is so bad I can't play" I cant even get to a town without it crashing. I've tried going to "Claim your prize" from Shazbot, still crashes. I've reinstalled the game, 2 times, and it still crashes. Please fix this STS, this was one of my favorite MMO's and I can't play it. Back to PL, I suppose.

Tell me if this has happened to anyone?
I play on the iPad 1. It has iOS 5.1.1 to it, but iPad 1's cannot update to iOS 6, for whatever reason I don't know of.

Have you restarted your device?

Can you try playing on a different wifi?

Restart, and launch appa again. Also if your opad is full of games then delete those a bit. It causes lag. I have this Ipad1 too and usually if you download any new and cool game, it lags a LOT. Sts games works quite well. Also helps for me a lot if i hold down home button, and then hold down one of those app icons in the little menu, then press red minus until theres no apps running.

Ive been experiencing terrible lag too after the last update. I already tried restarting my device, uninstall and reinstall the app and ive been playing using the same internet connection as before. The TERRIBLE lag just started happening after the last update. Hope it gets better when the double exp weekend comes.

BTW im playing using iphone5 running on IOS6.1

I had the same problem of high ping after the last update when joining towns, games or interacting with npcs. What I did was to re-enable camera effects which was deactivated. That really improved ping stability as I was always close to being disconnected when doing above actions. Of course it's a bug that needs to be taken care of but until then I hope this solution help you too as it did to me.
P.S. I'm also using iOS 6 so I guess it's iOS pack update related

Same. iOS has been giving ping issues for me and a friend, while my android gives no issues. Both using the same wifi.

From last two days I am also facing same problem disconnect from server within minute after enter in the town. Before that game run smoothly. And when I am playing as a guest there is no problem but when I am trying to login by my email id disconnect constantly. Pls solve this problem.

I am playing on my android 4.0.4 tablet with 2g internet connection. I delete extra apps and already delete & reinstall AL.

try clearing cache, clear memory, kill some apps that are running in background, maybe ur connection(?)

I already did all that, for the connection has been the same ever since and the connection is much faster now than before. Maybe there is just something wrong with the last update. Devs please look into it. Thanks.
