I thought they had to log in during a set period to get it. In other words, only those whose accounts were created before the last day of May 2010 who ALSO LOGGED IN DURING A TWO WEEK PERIOD in 2011, are founders.

In simpler terms, Founders are players who joined when there was practically nobody playing and who stayed for at least a year.

So even if you log in three years later, or if you buy an account illegally, you aren't a founder. You had to be active when the award was given.
