    Default Need little suggestion

    there is many thread about warrior build but i still dont know what i need, i keep respec my warrior, waste my plat. Right now i use vb, ss, cs, hor, but not feel satisfied whit that skill set, specially at new map. What i hate the most is get stun from boss, and 1 hit die, even spam pot not help. I have no best armor set yet but compare to mostly other warriors my armor do not too bad. so i need your suggestion skill set that possibility can help me. which is better juggernaut or rally cry? juggernaut cooldown is terrible but have impairing effect, is that mean anti stun too? or just anti slow?. Rally cry is good, buff all party but no heal and no taunt, no impairing effect too (like i said i hate being slow or stuned) and additional 5% armor is really wort? I interesting in ss, cs/wm, at, hor set, without buff but in my opinion that not too good for survivality. and how about jug, cs, at, hor set?. This really disappointing and a shame for being warrior but cant do the job properly.

    what i use

    vb horn wind and ss

    passives maxed STR maxed DEX
    3 on crit

    ill respec from vb to jug if a siuation calls for it

    and in any other situation swap out wind for cs (skull cove comes to mind)

    but really...max your venge max your horn do 4/5 wind and first two on hammer.. if you can add STUN.. maybe even better..

    in all ..rotation and timing can make you good tank

    if this isnt confuseing enough ..well cya

    i did use that skill set in the past before vb nerf, but IMO vb not help much in new map, for fight mobs may be but not in boss. by the way thank you for your suggestion.

    Dmg:
    Hor, vb, ss, might, passiv dmg, windmill / at.

    Tank:
    Hor, rally cry, cs, might, passiv def, windmill / vb / juggernaut / at.

    Juggernaut got anti stun too (ofc if u got this upgrade).

    Rally cry dont give 5% def. It gives 5% more damage reduction:
    Def * 0.047 = % of damage reduction. Ie 1200 def * 0.047 (around, dont remember more exactly) = 56.4% dmg reduction.
    So if boss hits u for around 10k dmg, u will fell only 4360 dmg.
    With rally u will get 56.4% + 5% = 61.4%, and u will fell only 3860 dmg.

    Buffed Nord maps bosses crits for 10-12k (around), so u will save ( mainly yourself + other tanks) at least 500 dmg.

    First of all ill say that i always c "attacking" is a good defensive strategy...so...I cant see also any good reason on getting CS in PVE.. u cant interrupt bosses, dose less dmg than other skills, smaller range, consumes TONS of mana in big pulls or long boss fight.

    Wind hits 3 targets 4 times (while u can still spaceattack) if u combo VB+Ribbit u can easly get to 80% crit...which is lots of dmg
    VB i think is a MUST TO HAVE it gives: 25%CRIT, 25%DMG, 50STR, plus, give hp and mana every time u get hit, according to mob dmg(which on avarege pulls size absorbs more than any other skill)
    VB is amazing in any situation but on boss fight that dosent spawn any small mobs, its amazing in pvp also!

    I suit more comfortable in :

    SS: 1100
    Wind: 1110
    VB: 1111
    HoR: 0111

    Passives
    Might: 5
    Crit: 5
    the rest 4 i still need to make my math but atm will b one between DEX DMG or ARMOR


    NOWDAYS BOSS
    Dont feel bored or sad coz seems so difficult to finish boss fights in this patch, we r not geared yet, plus they r trying to fix it
    ATM what ever build u gonna have ull still need to SPAM pots to down a nordr boss as warr(other classes just 1shootdie so they cant even spam pots xD) so better if u get more dmg to quit the fight earlyer

    PLAYSTYLE
    Its about 5-6 months im playing this game.. n i noticed that i can actually save LOTS of pots just timing my skills (now if there is 2 warr i spend almost zero pots till the boss in elites, still keeping all the aggro n having a good dmg output)

    BIG PULLS
    1.Keep the Aggro
    2.Kill everything
    I start whit VB+Wind+Ribbit, it gives me a GOOD defence (thanks to VB) n high dmg output (VB+Wind+pet buff) so i can keep all the aggro whit no probs for some sec, as soon as i c that some1 in the party is going down on HP, or that im about to get at 50% i use HoR, it will get all the aggro back, absorb all the dmg, n heal me up to full HP, after that is situationally

    BOSS FIGHTS
    1.Keep the Aggro
    2.Keep the boss in place (the best place on map)
    3.Kill that guy
    On the boss fight the best we can do is just keeping the aggro anticipating red field attack to make the boss face a safety area (we r good only in AOE DMG so let the rogues kill the boss)


    IF losing aggro use WIND or HoR
    IF you r on low HP use only SS plus charged space attack till u have VB or HoR back (use always charged space attack if more than 4 mobs)
    IF getting too much dmg move in big circle using HoR n Wind to keep aggro while the party is killing the mobs (dont do this often cos pisses of all the DPSer, normal profile just stand still)
    IF still much truble killing mobs change party, ur MAIN job in PVE is to keep the aggro, if mobs r not dieing its a DPS fail, not urs, ur second MAIN job is to do DMG, a warr whit 250+ dmg and 200+DPS will have more aggro n get hit less time than a warr whit lower stat but more armor/hp

    IF low DMG output a fight last longer, so the tanker get hit more time, so more difficult, so pot spam, so frustation
    IF more DMG output everything works better (but u knew that already)


    SO basically follow ur playstyle but remember that a PARTY whit 1.2K DPS(total) will always kill much easyer than a Party that has a warr on FULL TANKING set (items n skill build) but less total party DMG output.

    thank you very much for your suggestion, i really appreciate it.

    @Ishyrionek. So rally cry is good skill then for survivality. from your explaination, i think you suggesting rally cry over juggernaut, dont you?

    @latino. nice explanation. i use cs because fibble effect and taunt since it's short cooldown. in past i used wm but long cooldown+2s' idle made me drop it. and i read in other thread (i forgot where is it) critical in wm dont do additional damage, i not really sure about it, correct me if wrong. by the way, from my experience wm add possibility for wpn proc.

    So in the end, i still have to spend some more plat for test, i think 1 respec will not enough.

    It got 20% to interrupt... Or rather disorientation boss.... And feeble effect wich help alot with high crit dmg new bosses.
    Tons... Or rather TONS of Mana isnt so big problems for tanks in pve.
    But yeah, it gives smaller dmg output & range :'( :-\
