My guess that is that if you thank them using the "add reputation" which is the little green thumb they maybe it boosts 47 points.

Heres a way to get thanks.

Don't try.

Post useful posts, don't make useless guides, and thanks will come.

It's not something to try to get it is just a feature.


Worst thing you can do is post a useless thread, like this one.





Lastly, click on the "Settings" tab and you will see you latest reputation received and how many point(s) you have.

For every 100 points you will receive a new reputation bar.

And at a certain amount of rep points, it will take 200 rep points to get another rep bar (I don't know how many points it is though).

Please dont beg for thanks for rep bars. What's the purpose of it ? Display? Decoration? You can boost your rep bars nowadays and for me, I see these bars as nothing now,worthless beacause of it. Please EARN it, dont ask for it.
