I believe they ended it because people were really nice and polite ig when notable players and devs were around and they would make tons of helpful guides, but they would be complete jerks ig when nobody would notice or when devs weren't around. In short, jerks would pretend to be nice just to get in AOA , then go back to the way they were.

    Still though gotta admit
When people pretended to be nicer, the community seemed like a better community.

    Program got shutted down.

It was a very nice time we had all together, but it didn't stop us to keep helping people.. By the way, Bienvenue made "The Community Guild", that many AoAs and helpful people joined

I guess you can pm him to get some information about it ^^..

Because they could not get it to function properly.
Not only were players such as GoAs and AoAs apparently abusing/receiving more respect (and this led to players falsely brandishing their helpful qualities on forums to be invited), but it was more that the whole AoA program broke down.
You notice that players do not care about anything said as much as it being said by a Developer.
The only times that scammers or cursing people may actually feel threatened is when a character with a red name is openly warning them.
Similarly, the only time anyone may be interested in any event or party is if it is Developer-hosted and approved.

AoA attempted multiple and various activities for the general PL community with all kinds of tastes and formats, yet only the ones hosted by the AoA Developer leader were largely successful.
That along with the rather debated recruitment of new AoAs led to a long predictable breakdown in the system.

The GoA shutdown was also of similar nature.
I won't explain that further, but you can expect the same reasons more or less.

    Default AOA

No Sam hayne has a thread on it they shut it down because they felt that it wasn't fair to only have certain ppl to in the guild with all the devs, so they ended it so "everyone could be helpful."
