The longer you hold onto it, the lower its value drops

If it's perfect stats put it up for several millions.

edit: funny thing is...theres no pink 26 helms in ah..they're all mythic

It's way too soon to guess where the price will settle. For those of you who think that prices on such items always start high and then later on they drop, I guess you never played PL and saw what happened with dragon items. Within a few days after dragon helms and armor came out they were selling for around 1m each, then a month later they were selling for 2-3m each, and then 2 months after that they were 10-20m each. Only when STS gave into pressure from whining babies and increased the drop rate did they settle back down to lower prices, and that wasn't until around 5 months after they were released.

I'm not saying this is usual, but you just never know. It really depends on how common they are and how much people want them. I've yet to see the stats of the level 26 pink helms, so no way to judge how much better the mythic ones are, and no way to judge yet how rare they are as we've only just started the new campaign.

you're forgetting to search the market.
when theres no elite helms for l26 in ah and 2 mythics it means something.

I hope people won't get manipulated into spending half a gold stack just b/c rumours are saying they'll go up in price later.
*Then again you might be right but I highly doubt it and STS probally learned from their mistake in PL*

My side of the story, is that I am pretty amazed to see already that many new 'super ultra rare' Mythic items in the Auction House. Guess we can wait and watch them drop in price?

Lots of people are playing because of the expansion, i.e. lots of drops will be in ah. Expect price to drop dramatically for a week or 2 (maybe longer) and then raise as people lose interest in the game again
