They want to have a general discussion about the economy of recipes with the supply and demand and that generally if he wants to sell one, if someone would react with intent of purchasing said recipe in hopes of consuming it for their own leisure or selling it later on. It's quite an intricate little statement because if he strikes interest for multiple buyers, it will alter the offers significantly and respectfully, meaning that two humans are willing to compete for a recipe if the demand allows.
