Gale

Can someone explain to me why people use gale in km3? I would probably just use fire, clock, ice, and lightning. But everyone I ask says they like to use gale. I don't really understand why.

Also, I'm not really sure if the build I listed (fire, clock, ice, lightning) is good for someone who doesn't have any mythic or arcane items/pets.
