Crisis Of Faith 3rd Birthday Party Event

It has been 3 years since this guild came into existence. During these past 3 years, many new faces have come and gone, with many of them having contributed notably for the betterment of the guild. New acquaintances, friendships and even couples (ok I just know 1 ) have emerged from within us. We have seen our ups and downs, but I have to say, we feel proud to have you all as members of our family. And I hope that we continue together on this fun ride through the land of Arlor.

Ok enough with the speech boys and girls, lets get down to the fun part

Ladies and gentlemen of COF, it is with great honor that we present you with a Party to celebrate our 3rd Birthday. You are all invited to attend the birthday party in guildhall at 7 PM GMT on the 23rd of Jan. There is going to be cakes.. thats right Kona

And... as part of the celebrations, we feel excited to present you an event.

Organized by the leadership of the guild, this event is all about TEAMWORK!

Get yourselves together, communicate, come up with a name, gear up, think of a strategy and start running. Because, my fellow guildies, prizes of more than 5 million gold are at stake here.


The Objective

• Timed Runs of selected elite maps throughout Arlor
• Teams have a whole week to run the maps as many times as they wish, to achieve the best possible times
• The team with the best aggregated times for all 9 maps will be declared WINNERS. Followed by 2nd and 3rd place

The Event Dates

• Start Date: 23rd of January (Time: Right after the party in gh)
• End Date: 30th of January (exact time to be announced)
• Registration Deadline: 22nd of January (23:59 GMT)

For the registration, just submit your name to the GM or an officer.

Any late entries are subject to availability.


The Prize

1st Prize: 3 million gold for the winning team
2nd Prize: 1.5 million gold for the runner ups
3rd Prize: 750k gold for the 2nd runner ups

The Teams

Each team will consist of a party of 3 players, 1 from each class

• Warrior
• Mage
• Rogue

Members for each team will be decided by the COF leadership to get a balance between all competitors and give all participants a fair chance regardless of their class or gear.

The teams will be announced at the COF birthday party in guildhall on the 23rd. Stay tuned on Guild MOTD to know the exact time.

Remember guys, this is a 1 week event. We don't want you to spend your whole day in the game, but before you register, please ensure your availability for significant amount of time to allow your team to run and re-run maps. Your team is counting on you!

2. Elite Rooks' Nest (Chance to drop Malison)
3. Elite Mages' Mine (Chance to drop Snaggletooth and Wrathjaw)
4. Elite Palm Rock Island (Chance to drop Firesquid Mage Staff)
5. Elite Hall of Vallheim (Chance to drop Vixen)
6. Elite Forest of Shades (Chance to drop Malgo from mobs)
7. Elite Caves of Tarewa (Chance to drop Shadowlurk)
8. Elite Planar Tombs 3
9. Arena

Details

• Each team has to run all the 9 maps to be considered for the prizes
• Run your maps as fast as you can. The faster you run, the closer you get to the mountain of gold
• Post screenshot with whole party with visible loot in messages (recommended to turn off guildchat) and post them in this thread below, or on facebook, or line group
• Your run's time will be taken from the screenshot and entered into a live Rankings table which shall be posted below once the event starts
• Once the event ends, teams will be ranked based on their aggregate time of all the maps

Rules

• All Elixirs, Ankhs and Effigies are allowed
• If a team doesn't run all the maps, or does not post screenshots, it will be not be considered for the prizes
• Screenshots to be posted by any 1 member of the team. Do not post multiple screenshots of the same run
• Anyone who joins the guild after this contest is posted on the forum is not eligible to enter
• No gear or pet restrictions. Use whatever you want. Eventually all teams will be balanced based on gear/stats/pets
• Participants who fail to synch with their team or don't show up shall be disqualified. We will support such teams in getting a replacement where possible
• Each participant can only enter with 1 toon. Otherwise you will be disqualified. Choose your best char.
• Rules are subject to change based on event feedback
