Information on Week3:

• Our intention is to leave up to you how you want to collect points. You will gain one point for ever flag or every kill that you score.
• The maximum points for final ranking that you can reach this week is 1000.
• For this week partial prize pool, all your pvp points will be counted.
• We are of course aware of unfair behavior, such as use of dummies for kills. Be sure that we will be joining maps randomly and should suspicious behavior or final score be detected, we will post the suspicious score screen and it may lead to disqualification from the entire contest. This concerns kills and suspicious KDR in particular.
• Due to this reason, you are not allowed to leave guild during the contest. Even if you re-enter, you are instantly disqualified.

Hint: Please try not to kill your guildies during flagging, it only worsens our guild KDR. On the other hand, 1vs1, fair guild clashes for fun (or Troll bane AP) etc. are of course welcome. It's a game, all after all


In about 24 after the final countown expires, prizes for pvp week as well as final prizes will be - finally - available!

Last but not least I want to apologize for the delay - but we could not start PvP with stats being switched off.

Hello Elite Runners friends and guildies!

Time has come for another guild exclusive event! This time, you will not compete only in elite Arlor but for more spice we added PvP part, too! As everyone knows, a Triathlon is a multiple-stage competition involving the completion of three disciplines - and these disciplines will be:

1. Killing bosses in elite Arlor (presumably Shuyal and above) - 8-9 days
2. Killing anything that moves provided it gives you PvE kills (Tindi, Rengol, Kraken Mines, Crypts, Tombs...) - 7 days
3. Killing opponents in CTF and/or TDM maps and of course, flagging in CTF too - 4-5 days

Prize pool:
Approximately 19,2M of gold in total, mostly courtesy of our dear retired officer and friend Aze.
Latest news - due to expected changes in the game, Aze got his toons recovered and in order to help him come back, I will transfer 2M from the prize pool back to his pocket. I believe it's fair and that the winners will have understanding for this.

Prize distribution:
You can earn prize in two ways: First, you can get a prize if you place 1-10 in any of the three subevents. And second, your points in the three subevents will be summed up in the end so that your final rank can be determined. Roughly 45% of the prize pool will be distributed based on your overall performance!

Participants:
All members of the guild. Officers will participate in the runs and clashes, they will be listed in the current Leaderboards but in the end they won't be eligible for the prize pool and they will be removed from the leaderboards.

Classes:
We don't intend to distinguish between classes this time, as every class can shine at least in one of the subevents.

WEEK 2: PvE Kills Week

Rules:
Ask any officer to take a screenshot of your toon. The PvE kills on that screenshot will be your starting point.


Before the week 2 countdown has expired, let any officer take a screenshot of your toon again. In case of emergency, you can reach us also in Line chat.

Point system:
If you are a tank, you will get 1 point for every 10 kills (rounded down to tens). If you are a rogue, you will need 15 kills for one point and as a mage you will need 20 kills.
In this week, you can reach maximum 1000 points, which corresponds to 10,000 for tank (or 15, respectively 20k kills for rogue and mage).

How to earn points
You will be given points for killing the boss in selected elite maps and posting screenshot in this thread.

Maps that will give you points:

• Nordr - 1 point
• Shuyal - 2 points
• Tindirin - 2 points
• Rengol (Pakuna, Thumper, King) - 4 points
• Rengol (Goretusk) - 2 points

Note:
We assume no one would run Goretusk alone, that is, without the King being awake. Because we assume that the party might kill King first and then with map 70% cleared proceed to Goretusk, we give 2 additional points for this boss. So, in total, if you clear the entire Gnomish Ruins including both bosses you get 6 points.
For a party that includes all three classes you will be awarded additional 1 point.

Party rules

1. The participants must have the guild title <Elite Runners> visible.
2. Party must have at least 2 members. No solo allowed.
3. We allow one guest from other guild in the party on condition that the party has at least 3 members. Of course no points are recorded for the guest.
4. As already mentioned, if the party includes all classes, every member will be awarded additional 1 point for every run.

Result recording
One member of your party will need to take a screenshot at the end of the elite run where a special password must be visible in the chatbox. Only players with at least partly filled health bars visible in the screenshot will be awarded with points. The password will be changed several times during the contest and it will be announced both at the top of this thread and as MOTD when you log in.

The screenshot rules in a nutshell:

• All health bars of party members must be visible
• Current password must be visible in the chatbox
• Boss must be dead except Rengol as described below

Important!
Because Rengol maps have no timer and the corpses of the bosses except Goretusk disappear almost instantly, we strongly recommend that you take the SS shortly before the boss is dead (his health bar does not cover any of the letters of his name). Such screenshots will be accepted, but don't try to cheat by taking multiple pictures from the same fight. Any attempt will lead to disqualification of the entire party, for starters.

Furthermore, I want to draw your attention to the fact that elite bosses differ from normal bosses and so it would be childish to post a picture from normal boss fight. For example, Elite Goretusk has a big banner, King has different color of armor, Thumper has golden armor and Pakuna has a red hairy hat. You can spot some of these in the examples above.
