When will the next map expansion take place?

Type for the next expansion was debating with a friend the following, as you can not add new characters.
It would be very cool in the next expansion to be able to evolve our characters. How so "Evolve". Well I was thinking of class evolution (warrior = Tanker - new weapons, new armor and new skills for class Tanker \ Sorcerer = Arc Mage - New Weapons armor and skills \ Rogue = Weapon Master - Could use the rogue class weapon and the master class of weapons). Obviously this is just an idea. In order to perform the evolutions, we would have to do a series of quest collecting items to be able to use in a type of ritual of an NPC that would be using us as guinea pig for its experiment. It would be very cool.
