Default The Guide~Level 32 "Green Ice" Kite Bear~Squigglydice

Welcome to Noodleleg's guide to a Green Ice kite bear!

Yes, you're going to have to learn how to kite! So, suck it up or exit the thread if you look down upon kiting!

If you clicked on Squigglydice (AKA me), you'll see something like this. Don't make fun of my kill/death ratio! I had a few bad games sheesh!

Now for the most important part... Well important, but not most =p... THE BUILD! Apostel and I take credit for making this awesome build! We had to test it out and stuff. No, I'm not giving out Shelby's build. If you ask me a lot of times, I'll go to the social tab and add your name to the mute list. Oh and for your own well-being...don't rush the guy that just joined. He might look funny with Swamp Rat gear, but he's hella good...

Here's recommended gear! Oh, and go pure dexterity if you already haven't figured that out...

Let's learn about something that's also pretty IMPORTANT. Learning your range of course. HAHEM... If you haven't learned your range, get some more practice.

Here's the Auto-Crossbow's range, which is 13m! 13m gives you an advantage over skills of your opponent because this is 1m away from lots of skills! Oh and I thought it was kind of funny how will was jumping like that and his guild was Triumph. Out of topic, but we do digress, right?

Here's beckon's (the technical name for pull) range! Oh, this is 12m so, if you already didn't know this was 12m, you're going to FAIL at pvp. Sorry to make it sound so harsh D:...

    Here's hellscream's range, which is 8m!

Here's super mega slash's range, which is 4m!

I didn't put stomp in because most of the time you'll beckon before stomping anyways. Oh and if you're wondering 3 Stomp is 8m range.

    Combo!

This is a nuke build so you're going to have to do this really fast...
1.) Buff and all that stuff.
2.) Kite at 13m until you see your chance.
    3.) Beckon
    4.) Hellscream
    5.) Stomp
    6.) Super Mega Slash

Why do stomp and then, super mega slash? Oh and Apostel showed me this by the way. Look at these comparisons. The first one was without super mega slash and the second with it. Remember you have to do both of them really fast and at the same time to land both of the skills. Keep your enemies as far as possible.

I can beat anybody with this twink, right? Not really...voodoos are extremely hard to beat. The only people that can really beat voodoos are higher level twinks or another voodoo. Here's 2 guys you might not want to fight.

    ~CLASSES~

    Birds...

Birds usually will be a warbird with an iceberg longsword. This means they have lots of damage. And even more when at range to smash you with the big piece of ice! So, you want to dodge as much as possible from your dodge build. You also want to stay away from root especially. Why? Because it lowers your dodge a lot and it means they can come close to you! Stay at 13m and once they missed their armor break and root, nuke them with the combo!

Here's the beginning of the bird fight!

    Here's me kiting!

Oh and here's me nuking the bird! Remember, wait until the bird has missed root. If you can also dodge armor break, it'd be even better.

    Bears...

Your easiest enemies are going to be bears. You want to keep a really good distance away from them. Try as hard as possible to keep a distance. Your bow's damage is going to help you a lot. Get as much auto as possible. If they miss their beckon or you dodge it, nuke them with the combo. Here's a trick not many people know. If a person lands their beckon, do stomp right away and also hellscream. This pushes them back. Your time to move back to 13m! If you're in a bad situation and you don't have stomp, use beckon! If a person is right next to you and you use beckon, they also fly! Repeat the steps until you beat them...or they beat you.

Here's a picture of a shivering talon bear. They're a bit harder because they have some more range with their weapon than coppers. Use the same strategy though.

Don't get trapped like this! They'll probably use crushing blow and you're probably for sure done for! Again, use stomp to push them away!

Here I'm in a good situation. Now's the time to run back to 13m and use your auto-attack!

The trick I use to beat bears! Stomp if they beckon!

If the bear has a 2h weapon like a banjo or a big sword, use the same method! Just be much more careful! Here's a banjo...what a waste of a musical instrument... Would probably be ruined after each fight... *BANG BONG*

    Mages...

As I mentioned up there, mages are extremely hard to kill. You can only catch them by nuking them so hard and surprisingly before they shield. Voodoos carry way too much damage and armor at the same time. You might have a chance against level 30 talon mages. You can catch them when they shield too early or not shield at all. They don't have enough mana regen so, when they shield, use your auto-attack and try as hard as you can to stay at 13m.

    Here's me starting a nuke.

    Nuking the mage.

Crossing fingers and hoping for the best... Or the end of the nuke.

This is what I'm talking about on talon mages. This is also a good time to nuke because I have every skill ready.

    Tips to remember!
-Use the stomp if you beckon method!
    -Learn your range?
    -Nuke!
    -Have fast fingers!
    -Play fair!
    -Avoid mages lol :-D!
    -Be an awesome kite bear!
-Give me free kills (hehe joking)!
-Joystick flick! (When you keep stepping back and move up a tad bit to find your 13m...)

    And many special thanks to:

    ~Blissfury~

If practice makes perfect and perfection is impossible, why practice?
Oh, wait... No need to practice. iHax.
