i am still on Sealord effigy .. what's good for level 30-31 ?

nordr staff of brutality
noble helm of sec/myth helm
noble armor of sec/myth armor
(i still dont know which rings & pendant)
borean cage of brutality lvl31 rifle
mythical helm lvl 26
bonechill robe of fatality lvl 31
cobalt band of warfare lvl 31 (the one with int)
gleipnir (quest amulet)
later ill go for mythical armor and infused brooch of assault lvl31, i never saw ring like ensorcelled band of brutality or legend ring of assault lvl31 so ill stay on cobalt.
What's that quest amulet?
Rings and amulets, go look at epics... it's sad, but there are some lvl 30 and 31 epics that are better than the 25 gear.
Gleipnir is the reward for finishing the Uller's Tomb quest line. It gets a bad rap around here because it lacks damage, but I like it for the pure stats: +25 to int, dex and str. It's found its way into a couple of my loadouts that are geared towards survivability.
+1 on the epics. I'm not ashamed of my 30 epic brutality ring at all.

Yeah, I realized I had forgotten to get the quest before I killed the big boss, so I finished it up. I agree, it's a great amulet. I use it in 3/4 loadouts (all but my max damage one), the health you gain for the damage loss is well worth it (unless you're running with a great party and don't need to worry that much).
What has everyone gotten for stats, without pets, so far?
I have 2050hp, 370int, 268.2damage, 371.3dps (who really cares), and 751 armor in my max damage gear.
My high health gear is 2989hp, 293int, 208.8 damage, 289.2dps, 806 armor. (with slag this is 3209 health)
I have two other sets that are in between, balanced with one more hp and the other more damage.
No pets? My stats are rather embarassing without a pet to cover them lol. Anyway, weapon is Borean and the rest of my equipment are cheap budget buys.
Damage - 2292 HP, 374 INT, 248.0 Damage, 279.0 DPS, 707 armor.
High HP - 2904 HP, 323 INT, 219.4 Damage, 246.8 DPS, 735 armor.
Same as Valsacar, I have other loadouts that fall in between these two. But lately I've been finding myself using the HP loadout the most. Stupid 1-hit KO bosses. :\
Airys <Average Joes>
Lol, 1 hit ko bosses suppose to be bugged , we mage can die by 1 hit without even inside the red area of the bosses, wth hahhahaha.
My current (and only) loadout:
Lvl 31 Radiant Ice Ribs of Brutality (I may invest in Borean but would rather focus on obtaining Nordr Jewel)
Lvl 31 Bonechill Mantle of Stability
Lvl 31 Bonechill Robe of Fatality
Lvl 31 Ruby Band of Brutality! Go epic rings.
Lvl 31 Gleipnir
No pet - Health: 2325, INT: 380, DMG: 241.0, Armor: 735
Clyde - Health: 2515, INT: 410, DMG: 254.8, Armor: 735
I know I'm lacking in damage. Still working on obtaining gear.

Slag is awesome for sorcs.
The amulet is the main quest line for nord, where you kill all the normal bosses.
There is a huge difference. The speed is nice, but the +12% damage is huge. The CD on slag is more (25 seconds I believe) but it seems to hit more often (no tests to prove, been too lazy) and does damage. Crit isn't useful, I hoped it would be, but +damage% is far better. If cost is a factor, Clyde is a good alternative (as is Colton, Malison, and a few others but Slag/Clyde have the power to stun bosses).
Nvm. A guildie showex me what quest line I was missing. I wish they had the hints in the quest log like on SL/PL (where it directs you where to go next). They really need to organize them better on AL. Smh.

Don't think Time and Thunder is much useful in PvE except in large mobs and bosses respectively. I know I'm not the most knowledgeable on mages (far from it o.O) but my build is fire, gale, ice, heal and additionally, lightning for bosses. Some people argue that there isn't any point in having 5 skills but I like it, seeing as I use frost for mobs and lightning for bosses. Gale is also hated on cuz it doesn't hit that hard and pushes enemies out of smoke clouds, away from tanks, out of the clock spell. I find it useful in solos and party runs though, as its very good in cc.
I use those four, time is a MUST have for pve. Even with only 2 guys it is useful, charged it keeps them from being able to hit you while you pick them off. Lighting is good on bosses, but also for little guys to get rid of things quickly.
"Little guys". haha
