Why does my wolf meow?

Orion (or at least mine) has the play and trick of a cat. Is this intentional?!? Please, tell me this is a bug.

I notice my wrath jaw also meows I though he was a demon dog not cat -_-

I have a wrath jaw as well and was also under the hell hound impression. Or maybe a hell pig? They kind of snort when you fight them in arcanum. LoL
