equip Gear/Weapon help pls!

I know you need certain requirement to use gear/weapon. For example: for my warrior to use Bow I need requrement in DEX but after I have enough requirement to equip that bow for my warrior to use it. Then can I reset the point and leave the bow without unequip. Because I don't want to add all my point to DEX.

You will not be able to use a weapon if you dont have the require stats to use it, regardless of whether or not it is equipped.
