At lower lvls, rhinos need more dmg (except for 20 rhinos...op with plat pack).
People used to say mages are their worst enemy, but now I see str bears their enemy.
A rhino has to fight close up, as well as a str bear.
A rhino is vulnerable to a bears debuffs, the hell scream and cb. Rhinos dmg is already low, hs and cb makes it waaaayyy lower.

The Damage nerf was added to minimize the one shot and two shot deaths. It make pvp games last a tad longer. It was needed and still is. The damage nerf did help for that reason, however, it made INT hard to kill savage.
Yes, I know that, but it also ruined lower lvls. I play lower lvls, and I've seen the difference. Mages no longer nuke as before, rhino is more underpowered, bears are rising in power, etc. I don't mean to be selfish, but its not all about endgame. The damage nerf was added for the reason I said. And it did minimize the one and two shot kills. You can't tell me it's happens as much as it used to. I used to be able to one and two shot birds all the time. Now it usually takes 3 skills
And I did say now, since the nerf, with int I can't kill savage.
I rather struggler against savage then to get one shotted by a bird over and over.
overall dmg nerf is not the solution I meant,
weak classes may have more armor so that the classes that depands on high dmg to b successful I.e dex birds, int mages etc would not suffer hence it would be more balanced than now.
It effected all the non endgame games badly too.
so overall it can b considered as temporary solution not good solution as u mentioned.

No, I actually believe to a certain extent that much of the bears spells reflect damage and not tanking.
Take order and chaos for example: tanks in that game have spells specifically for buffing themselves, teammates, etc. Things like armor and health.
I know PL is a small MMO so I don't think any class in this game is considered a "tank"... you're only a tank if you use the gear associated with STR.
It's just perspective then, Zapoke. In the case that bears shouldn't be tanks in a small MMO like PL then yes, it's strictly the savage gear giving advantages for certain classes (or every class using it).
any bear that is 65+ can kill any class...
look at their buff increments... for armor and damage it increases by like 10 each level after 6. taunt stacks so its like double the dodge.
Birds only increase dodge and hit by like +2 every level after 6
and mages is like a mixture of both but the gear they have lack armor big time compared to before so they are squishy
