Anyone know if GameStop still buys used games? That would help too if they do.

Ok. My Wii doesn't work anymore so I have 3 CoD's. World at War, Black ops, and Modern Warfare 3. I also have a few old Nintendo DS games laying around somewhere. None of those are new releases but they aren't usable by me and still worth something.

Quick question. If GameStop would take my iPod for enough money, because it says on their website they take them, is there a way to keep what is on it? Like I have $25+ in songs and albums on it. Would all that go away? Or does it save to my Apple account. I know I read somewhere about it but it was a while ago and I forget.

I think if you purchased those songs on your Apple account, you could go on your Apple account on another device and get it on that.Originally Posted by TheScaryBeary:1291954

Thanks. But I won't do that now as planned. Mom says no, because I saved up for it for so long. But I still have all my Call of Duties, DS games, and if it still works a DS. Getting closer to playing again

Also, you may see if you have something called Disc Replay (store) in your area. They pay way better for games, they give as much cash as Gamestop does in-store credit.
I know that isn't anywhere around me. I had a place called Hollywood Video who did movie rentals and sold/bought games but then Redbox and Netflix came out and they shut down. Now it's just GameStop. I've sold to GameStop before though and just 2 games made me $30. Of course that was when Nintendo DS's were popular still. I think they buy around me based on popularity and demand of the game. Call of Duty is a very popular game and with 3 to sell I'm sure ill make something good. Anything is helpful though, I really don't care how much they take my games for.

I still use my ipad2 for PL and it works great. Since price seems to be a concern for you, maybe you want to try to find a used older generation ipad to get something functional but cheaper. I haven't priced it, but with so many other, newer devices out there, I gotta figure there's someone selling it cheap.
iPad? Ok.Great/
iPad MINI? uh huh- no, I'm an owner of both and the iPad mini just did not meet my expectations, my op get the iPad or get a computer.

Alright. What do you guys think about the Nexus 7 tablet. I only need $10 more for that and it has some good reviews when I looked. I saw it mentioned once in this thread but if anyone else has more opinions I'd appreciate it.

Alright so I've done some research. If anyone has opinions I'd appreciate it. I'm making my choice between the Nexus 7 first gen and the Samsung galaxy 3 tablet. They are both cheaper and have good ratings. The first gen nexus 7 is more in my price range than the galaxy 3 tablet and they both use the same android Jelly Bean 4.1 operating system. The nexus 7 first gen gets around 9.5 hours of battery while the galaxy 3 tablet gets around 11 hours. So I'm stuck here; they both are good enough for me but if anyone has used one or both of these and has an opinion which is better I'd gladly like to hear it. I know there was one post I saw saying the first gen nexus 7 is awesome but what about the galaxy 3 tablet.

I need to just make up my mind already. Keep seeing one thing then another and then another...ahhhh. Ok so anyone tried the Samsung galaxy 2 7" tablet with 8gb of memory? It runs on an older version of android (4.0 Icecream sandwich I think it said) but in the reviews it's said to be better than the Kindle fire hd (I can see that with my experience with a kindle fire) and some said its better than some Apple products. If anyone has their opinion or if anyone uses/has used this please let me know. Thanks.

A first Gen nexus 7 trounces any low end galaxy tablet. You said previously that the tab 3 and nexus 7 have the same android 4.1? Wrong. Being a nexus device the nexus 7 has access to Android 4.3, the latest and greatest. Expect to be receiving os updates atleast through 2014. Also, the nexus 7 surpasses processing power of most of the budget galaxy tablet systems. It's a no Brainer. The galaxy tab 2 is not even close to a kindle fire hd. If better than an apple product you mean better than an ipad 1 then yes, it's slightly better than an apple product.
EDIT: the Samsung galaxy nexus phone released in 2011 is still receiving os updates and is set to receive android 4.4 Kitkat. Expect the nexus 7 to outlive any galaxy tablet currently available (even the latest octa core galaxy note 10.1) in os updates.

I'm saying galaxy tablet 2 because it is the only tablet I can afford that is near me. I searched Nexus 7, iPad mini, galaxy 3, in the store finder for different stores in my area. None of those items are even in a 50 mile radius of the State that I live in. That's why I'm saying galaxy 2.
