I posted that because I knew you'd comment. Meh, Chris, never thought you'd be one to fall for obvious troll-bait.

Truth is, PL is a forgotten game. Does it have good memories? Sure, but I'd rather not waste more time on something forgotten other than a few visits every now and then.

Just because the endgamers aren't getting a cap, doesn't mean that PL is forgotten. Yes, for awhile, it was, but they're trying to help out. We requested stuff, and they listened. That's just like CoD, it's not like they raise the cap prestige every couple months for something to do. We still have stuff to do, and PL is pretty chill. It is just an opinion, but imo AL is already boring and it even STARTED out as a pay to win game. (Chests) At least PL didn't start that way, and it still isn't that way, really... I'm betting AL will die out even sooner than PL "did," and people will realize that. PL is chill, and AL is for money hungry people looking for something exciting to do every time they turn around.

After playing the game for more than 3 years, I believe I stayed longer that most.

Secondly, AL did not start out as a pay to win game. Infact, PL is way more of a pay to win game than AL is. I've spent far less money on AL and am able to get by using just free platinum offers. Luck elixirs are not needed for farming in AL & is way more of a needed factor to loot anything worthwhile in PL.

I've been through the first great nerf & honestly, this one isn't much different. They basically did the exact same things as the last time a great nerf was applied to PL. What's the difference? Revisiting old memories? Personally, no thanks.

All I was trying to get at is that I don't think PL is completely forgotten. AL sux and Gramma knows it :P I just can't seem to get into AL, as no matter how long I farm and attempt to merch, I can't get anything. I've bought about 2k plat in PL total, and none of it being to earn gold, just vanities and leveling toons since I'm lazy. The other 4k is from free offers, also miscellaneous stuff xD But I really did work my hardest for about two months actually, on AL. The only way I made 300k was from buying 165 plat and opening crates. I feel that AL is a PtW because the people that do so end up having over 10m+ in a few short hours. Farming isn't required, just buy gold to buy chests and open them up, instamillionaire :P I don't care to try AL again, as my 30 mage can't even walk into a PvP arena without being destroyed, as I obviously have no mythics. I seem to be the guy that plays games for the PvP, as PvE gets old after doing it hours each day in the summer and having no luck. "AL is the better game while PL is the better community." Hit the nail right on the head, there. As AL is a quote quote, more fun game, what is a good game without a good community? I have no friends in AL, and the ones that wanna hang around me are the ones in PvP. These are of course opinions, and I just think that I'll stick to boring old PL while AL gets the glory
