3 tiers of 4 each. The top 3 from each region will randomly be put together, say team #1 and #2 fight each other team 3 fights winner. If team 1 wins again they win it all and team 2 and 3 fight for second place.

I dont know if anyone has done it this way. But its intriguing to me. The problem with having 12 teams is single elimination is impossible due to some teams having more or less fights than others, which wouldnt be Fair.
Ok, so..
A WIN is 3 points. A LOSS is 0 points.
In Round 1 , each team will fight 3 times. Each faces each team once. And Yes I understand its best out of 3 But its basically One Big Fight.
Example, in Group A, Team #1 fights #2, #3, & #4 , all on seperate days of course. #2 fights #1 #3 #4, etc etc.
Host of tourney keeps track of how many points each team accumulates ASWELL as how many total KILLS each Team accumulates in all 3 fights. Why? Ok well...
***Teams MAY be tied for points after fighting 3 times each BUT as mentioned before, since each fight will be screen shotted , if Ties do occur, only the team with the most Kills advances***
Which would make the Tourney even more exciting, because every kill counts!
For Example lets say: In Group A, after each team fought 3 times, (technically more since its best out of 3 but its still 1 big fight)..
Team #1 has 9pts. #2 has 3 pts . #3 has 3 pts and #4 has 3 pts. Thats Three Teams that are Tied!
But #2 had 24 total kills. #3 had 26 and #4 had 18 kills.
So Team #1 and #3 advance to Semi Finals.
Thats 18 total fights in Round 1.
In Round two same scenario with how points are earned. Now that 6 teams are randomly split into Two Groups, each team will face each team again, in their own group.
So example, in Group D, Team #1 fights #2 and #3. Team #2 fights #1 and #3, etc etc.
Thats 6 fights Total in Round 2.
Each Top Team from Groups D and E advance to Finals.
***And again, Ties are possible so if ALL three teams are tied, no worries, because the one with the most kills advances anyway. If for some reason Two teams are tied for kills, then its a death match for the Advancing Spot. Highly doubt 3 teams in 1 Group will be Tied for Kills, so we shouldn't worry about that.***
And in the Finals , the final two can go for either a single elimination or best out of 3.
**Final Note: To keep an easier track of kills , and not have so many screenshots, the matches between teams can be just 1 instead of best out of 3***

If we had time, and more competent players who log on and get matches in fast, we might could do this but doing the said style above it would literarily take a year to complete the tourney, we just don't have the time.
It really isnt that many fights.

5 fights in the whole tourney if they reached semis.
6 fights if they are in championship.
Thats 2 less than in yours
But I do agree the players in this tourney dont seem to be getting into it much.
This tourney should have be downed to 8 or upped to 16 teams.
I dnt think its fair for two teams to be gifted a free semi final spot while others have to have an extra fight.

Im willing to step out of tourney, if another team is aswell. Because an 8 team tourney would be fair , elimination wise.
