If its like the Halloween event, I wouldn't expect locked prices to rise by that much. Most people spent their plat on buying eggs & vanities for resale and not opening crates.

Probably no increase before, during or after xmas. Unless exceptional surprise content only available in it.

Expect increase only during new lvl cap, mythic/arcane events.
