I really don't know where you're coming from with this. I've had no problem with bears or warbirds or mix of str/dex or anything type of any character at 51 with my mage. My mage isn't 51 anymore, but I DID play it before and after the buffs nerf, and there was really no change or anything, except for birds. Unless I'm the best kiting mage of PL, which is highly doubtful, I wouldn't say that Bugsz is completely wrong.

Beating a bear is one thing. Beating a genuinely good bear is another. That's all I'll say on the matter and that goes for every class.

I know that much but I don't have to fight genuinely good bears, considering Parth/Wyatt/Anyonegood is at 51 anymore, and there's just like two or three DECENT people there anymore

Yes bears dominate it, i can beat every single class except for bear. If the bear is slightly inexperienced, or if I time stuff right, I can kill bears, but very hard.
