dps and bow speed

are people going for faster higher dps weapons for pve and slower higher top end damage for pvp?

i think so,.

but usually they go on armor for pve not dps only like void wing and talon void for the agros then switch to bow or blaster on boss,.. pvp well depends on the player,. i like right amount of damage with extra health

Don't go for DPS. Get max damage first then DPS after the fact.

DPS doesn't mean you will hit that all the time. a person with 200 dps can hit strait misses, so if you get max damage you are almost ensured a hit because its ability to break armor.
