And it's UTC not GMT.
And, unless you talk to programmers, 28th is expected to be included in "until 28th".

This plat sale extension was a special exception, so we use GMT just for this one.

This was confusing sir. I stacked up on lockeds to resell hours before plate sale ends, expecting a price surge at that time, but then, plat sale ends unexpectedly.

LoL, I just got home and was considering purchasing plat tonight... How is it that 99% of the time we use CST because STS is located in Austin and the 1 exception is the one time that it will benefit the players to use CST?

Because normally when they say a date, it follows that date via CST. In this special case extension, it wasn't. Kinda confusing, but it's cool.
