You don't know that. They could have capped the Tarlok gear at L36 so you would still loot L36 gear at L41

i doubt that sts would allow tarlok gear to lv 41... its already to powerful
I was crazy before it was fashionable.
When I opened my Imbued after the event was over, all I got was 40 Winter Tokens, which support converted to 40 gold.
I don't think that you get anything out of Imbued at this point besides Winter Tokens unless STS changed something.
Keep them around for Vanity purposes or in the remote chance that they have another Winter Event in 2014

Ahh speculation. Such a wonderful thing. Like when locked chests came out and were worth 115 gold each in season one lol.
We all know how that is now though. I'm not counting chickens yet. We know tar lock isn't coming back. He was just a prelude to new expansion.
His gear will be like founder/arlor Vanity gear. If it lvls that remains to be seen sure. But I'm curious what happens when I hit 41 and open chests. If no upgrade OK. Maybe a breezaga or two regardless..

Locked chests did not come out during S1.
The Tarlok gears were created and discontinued at a time when the level cap was 36. In order for Tarlok gears to be higher than 36, STG would've had to have specifically created each tarlok item (manually adding the stat bonuses as well) and re-release them after the expansion arrives. The Tarlok gears are permanently capped at 36 until (if) STG decides to release them again.
Wow really? Until an sts mod comes in here and refutes the above statements OR one of you guys is proven to be god or able to see the future.... you are as full of sssss as I am and speculating. It is what it is. Old gear drops in old elite chests at scaled rates and is still rlevent. It is what it is. Deal with it
I'll be opening around 20 golden frozen chests at 41.
We'll see how that goes.
