You should buy crates, but opening tomorrow would be a waste since nothing is currently selling, and you'll end up with lots of useless pinks with the expansion coming soon. But if you loot one, you'll have enough gold to buy anything you want

Lol... this pet is going to be released in 2015. Anyways by the way the price of locks r going i think most of the community also thinks that it will be released tomorrow. If i remember correctly i think sam was released before the expansion, then abbadon, and then the new crate pinks. If they plan on following that trend then it should b soon. Though the original title said new arcane pet tomorrow and the post said wait for tbe official announcement. I would assume that it will b in the weekend update. Would b interrsting to see mythic weapons included as well... lol but we all know we dont want to see anymore daggers in pvp.

Sure its OP ecc but it is ugly and it makes me feel like AL with time passing by will become more and more pay to win prefering plat over quality and overall player happiness.

I just hope the non plat side of the game will worth playing. :0

Let's just wait and see how this pet works. Having a one minute cooldown on arcane pretty much limits how OP this pet seems. Also, I'm expecting the loot rate to be even lower than the rest of the arcane pets.

It'd be fine to have something that will persuade the current serious platinum buyers to keep buying since every single person from that group has already aquired the best gear/pet so far. I'm guessing they made it for the exact reason; a slow but gradual decrease in the platinum purchases.

It's not going to hurt anyone if this becomes an actual arcane rarity pet even for the already arcane-stuffed players.

You can always buy it with gold, see lyms as an example Yea you can play free, but plat users might have advantages. Just compare AL with other ORPG games, some even requires payment to download, then be happy you have AL to have fun with.
Btw dont go everywhere and tell (new) people that sts wont do stuff that doesnt make them money, like "they will release new mythic so people will open more crates blah blah blah", it really irritates me.

I am just afraid with time passing by AL will turn more into p2w like other morpg i played and watch go down the drain for example if we continue like this, how would you beat a op pet like Singe next next expansion the answer will be: "by giving more more more stats buff."

I know the company has to pay bills and i will help them pay their bills like a good customer that i am, but let us be sincere and analize situations with clear eyes this just another incentive to pop more crates.
