Crates are going to suck if this is the only thing added tomorrow. Most people wouldn't be as thrilled getting any mythics that are currently in the crates since they are on their way out. Hope many of the crate items are refreshed as well.

Yes im agreed, in other season they updated arcane pet with new gear for next expansion in crates, not sure if they stopped that with shuyal.

I'm sorry to say it, but the design team really dropped the ball on this pet.

It looks nothing like I would imagine a dragon from an island of tiki inspired warriors looks like. I'm not entirely sure what that looks like, tbh - but certainly not this. The armor on it looks so out-of-place and the derpy look on it's face is laughable - almost like a Rampardos with downs, it's just not cool. The stats are amazing for sure, but damn. >_<'''

i think the baby dragon's design is nice. we should be able to appreciate it when we are able to rotate the pet, hmmmmm and smoke effect or amber effects would be nice too.

Samael is a flying toddler with a stick compared to this beast...I didnt think next arcane pet would have these overpowered stats...45 primary stat, 15 of other stats, 12% dmg. Arcane ability similar to samaels but gives +15 stats. This drew the line between the rich and poor.

Where does everyone come up with 60 primary? Its 30+15 primary and only allies get +15 not the owner of the arcane pet. Read the description. Samael for mage is +35 primary. So the difference is ten for mage and 20 for everyone else. The extra 12% damage does make it the highest damage output of any pet compared to sams 10%. However Sams DoT is insane by attacking mobs with poision which spreads. So I'd prefer Sam over this in pve as in pvp even with this arcane pet mage can't kill war lol.

Yes, atm Im able to kill and survive against most arcane pets users samael included but this pet is way too beast. yes my pet is legendary and crap but are pets supposed to be the deciding factor for pvp, they shouldnt have a huge impact imo.

And yes its my 2 cents which means for me this pet will be too OP to kill without having arcanes, and that draws the line.

As Samhayne suggested in another post, there are items to consider when looking at pets that are not shown on the pet stat screen. I personally think Samael is way overpowered myself considering his lightning fast attack speed. The beginning arcane pets attack like they were on tranquillizers, hammerjaw in particular. We don't know what his passive attack speed will be or the damage from his arcane ability. Additionally, as others have stated, he stuns. This is very different from panic / terrify. At the end of the day Samael tbh is going to be better probably - those panic abilities and stupid high crit rates are what truly ruin pvp. At risk of rambling on to other topics... As I suggested in the beginning, there are invisible factors that could very much change your opinion of the pet.
