    The crit damage buff we received from back in a specific update gives reason to put it into crit. Clock DoT dmg crits and stacks. Whats a mages main PvE skill? Clock.

    Its always good to see more yellow rather than red.

    Top that with pressing ribbits arcane right after dropping clock or before lightning... that persons going to hurt a bit

    Same build as keikali. I feel as though 5% constant damage outweighs 5% crit but everyone has diff playstyles and none are wrong even if you like to be fast and put passives into speed and use a slag. Everything has some benefit to what you are doing

    You can never make crit high enough in your base stats to take advantage of the passive crit percentage boost.

    I run a similar build. I have:
    4/5 Fire
    4/5 Ice
    4/5 Light (no stun)
    4/5 Shield (2 sec invulnerability comes in handy.
    2/5 heal (only mana upgrade and worth the 2 pts to have for PvP)

    I had clock since day one but I swapped out clock for lightning a month ago and never looked back. I do mostly elite Oltgar, shuyal and arena and I think it's a good combination of mob kill / boss kill. Clock is solid though so either way both are good choice for build.
